What is a Critical Incident?

A critical incident is a traumatic event that has the potential to overwhelm a person's ability to cope with stress. Examples include workplace violence, accidents causing injury or death, natural disasters, or the sudden death of a coworker.

When a critical incident occurs, GARC can provide a range of services, including:
